Supporting in developing and executing on business strategies including creating communication plans and activities related. Developing the plan is the easy part – making it happen is when it gets tricky and where communication and leadership comes into play for real.
I have long experience, as communication and change manager and being a part of senior management as well as a consultant, in creating business strategies and plans.
Change management is about people, their ability and willingness to take ownership. Ownership of the organizations’ change journey, and or their own. Leadership, communication to ensure we have a clear “why” is everything.
I have run transformation journeys in both large and small companies focusing on efficiency, implementation of agile way of working and digitalization. A key for succeeding is the organizations' ability to handle both the structural and cultural change.
All relationships and everything we do together is built on our ability to communicate. An organization where everyone has the same understanding of who we are, where we´re going and why we do what we do is a key success factor.
By having a strategy in place defining Why, What and How brings a strong backbone to the organization whether we are on a change journey or in a phase of business as usual. A strong strategy consists of both structures, such as channels, periodicity, but also our messaging platform and a clearly defined “why”.
Many years as Head of communication and manager makes me well positioned to support your organization in a wide range of managerial positions. When in a need for a change, strategically or operative I can support you either by managing the change agenda or as an advisor in the process.
Having plans and a strategy for handling the things we don't know about is not easy, but equally important. By having the structures in place when something unplanned happens the organization will be able to focus on solving the issue.
Communication is always important, but in a crisis it is more important than ever – ensuring that we internally know what to do and who is doing what, and externally provide our clients and stakeholders with continuously relevant information.
When we know how to act and whom to contact, risk will be lowered and our joint efforts will go in the same, right direction – to solve the problem.
I have a long and broad experience of leading crisis management teams and handling crisis in both large, listed companies and in smaller organizations.
